After rescuing the crew, Maureen is stuck a space pod and John must come to her rescue. Unfortunately, Hastings has other ideas and devises a plan to leave them stranded. Meanwhile, Penny and Will try to figure out a way to help Scarecrow. Penny tries to get Vijay to assist, but Dr. Smith is working with Hastings to intimidate him. With Judy's help, the kids figure out a way to get Scarecrow to a Jupiter. Although Adler initially wants to stop the operation, he has a surprising change of heart when the robot appeals to his humanity.
